Contains some of the verses composed by Muruganar and entitled Padamalai, which recounts in poetic form teachings he received from the Maharshi. The verses are arranged by topics by the editors and translators and are compared with sayings of the Maharshi that appear in other works. There are also many notes and comments on the topics, along with fresh translation of recorded sayings and sayings not previously published in English.
