Initial silence is followed by spiritual instruction on knowing reality by knowing oneself. Dialogues on the Knowledge-essence, Self-inquiry, transcendence of the senses, and other spiritual topics. Followed by recitations in Sanskrit and English of verses from the Chandogya Upanishad and in Tamil from chapter 9 of the Song of Ribhu.
